Cat has a limp.

Another crisis. Cat went out on night patrol at 8.15pm Wednesday. Happy to see him come back at 9.15pm. Then noticed he was limping. He had a mouthful to eat then went and curled up under the table, his safe spot. Couldn’t see anything outwardly and he was okay being patted.

I left him alone downstairs with a nightlight on (do cats need night lights?). I went up to bed at midnight with him still under the table sleeping quietly. Came back down at 4.30am and he was still asleep under the table. About 5am he stretched and stood a bit.

He settled down again under the table and I went back to bed at 5.30am. Got up at 9am and he was still under the table. He then stood up and started moving about as normal but a bit stiff in his leg. He jumped onto the footstool and off again and rolled about on the rug.

He ate his breakfast, sharpened his claws and then toddled off upstairs and is currently sitting in the window sill surveying his domain. Get a pet they say. It’ll keep you calm they said. Yeah…back on the treadmill. 😉
